台北市長柯文哲10日在北市府前主持國慶升旗典禮，但多位局處首長未到場。對此，柯文哲表示，不會特別要求他們參加，他重申當初上任時的誓言，公務員不用服務政黨及政治，只要服務市民就好，「不想來也不會管他們這個」。

柯文哲指出，市府不僅要多元及和諧，有時候就能允許不同人的想法，如果不想來，自己也不會管這麼多。

主持完升旗典禮後，柯文哲將到文山區參加健走活動，對於起了個大早的他似乎也吃不消。他表示，假日他都想躺在床上睡覺，不過沒辦法，但是當首長就是有一定義務。
